    Michael,

I would like to know if you think it would be a good idea if all Americans who would like to see the Health Care Bill repealed fly their flags upside down until the Bill is overturned? I would like to do this to demonstrate the distress our country is in. Let me know.

    Thanks,

As per usual the Republicans are slow on their feet. The real issue here is not health care reform. The Republicans can galvanize the nation if they (we) can the mantra to”If the government knows what’s best for the country then the entire country should be mandated to participate in what ever Congress passes and the President signs into law. That means that all the Congress and the President will participate in the health care program just like ordinary citizens. Taxes for “cadillac” programs will be collected from them. They will receive no special considerations on access to care”. No more trips to Walter Reed.

Our Constitution was written to ensure that there would be equality under the law. Everyone in Washington including the President should be held to this fundamental pillar in our constitution.

The Republicans come out a day late and more than a dollar short in their responses to media. Let’s get over the abortion issues and tax issues and get back to this fundamental princicples. It will shut Pelosi up big time. If she comes out against this it shows her true colors. If the Dem vote in favor then you can rest assured that they will make the program truly beneficial as they don’t want to wait in line for care, pay higher taxes or be denied access to care like the rest of us.

I would like to get more involved in the Republican Party. We must beat the Democrats and get them out of Washinton starting with Barbra Boxer, Diane Feinstein and Pelosi.

I’m also interested in becoming more involved in local issues which can ultimately help the GOP on a federal level as well. I’d like to see more organized GOP movements in Sonoma County. As a young republican, I can vouch that there are many, many more of the 20-something year old Republicans in this area than we know. The problem is making the GOP connect with them, lets get out there and connect with them, before the Liberals do!
