Appointment of Persons to Fill Vacant Elected and/or Previously Appointed
Member Positions.

Elected Member vacancies occur when a full complement of members is not elected
in the appropriate direct primary election, or when a vacancy in an Elected
or previously Appointed Member position occurs in mid-term due to any of the
following circumstances:

Voluntary resignation of the incumbent;

Death of the incumbent;

Removal of the incumbent for multiple absences from required (or regular)
meetings of the SCRCC as provided for separately in these Bylaws;

Removal of the incumbent for cause as set forth in the California Election
Code, Section 7413;

Prolonged incapacitation of the incumbent due to injury or health reasons,
which materially affect his ability to conduct his office; or

Relocation of the primary residence and/or voter registration of the incumbent
outside of the Sonoma County Supervisorial District on which his election
was based, or outside of Sonoma County.
